In this role, you will make a significant contribution to ensuring a reliable and high-quality laboratory operation in the WSL central laboratory. You support the research units through precise analyses of soil, plant, and water samples, thereby making an important contribution to the quality and reproducibility of scientific results. Your tasks include proper sample processing, development and optimization of analytical methods, as well as careful documentation according to ISO 17025. You ensure compliance with quality standards and support the team in further developing efficient laboratory processes.
You have completed laboratory technician training (e.g., chemical laboratory technician EFZ) or equivalent. Several years of practical experience in analytical chemistry, preferably in method development, distinguish you. You work in a structured, quality-conscious manner and are familiar with the procedures in a research-oriented laboratory. Good English skills, both spoken and written, complete your profile. Team orientation, resilience, and clear communication are also among your strengths.
