Purchasing Planner

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed individual for a newly created position in operational purchasing. In this exciting role, you have the opportunity to actively shape structures and sustainably influence processes.
- You are responsible for the daily disposition of your assigned assortment and ensure product availability taking into account defined KPIs such as stock turnover and coverage.
- You actively manage stock levels and take care of the clearance, especially of R and S stock.
- You ensure that old stock is specifically avoided and reduced.
- You systematically handle invoice and delivery discrepancies.
- You take over dunning procedures with suppliers and handle complaints.
- You work closely with the Category Manager English Books and support them with operational questions in procurement and supplier management.
- You contribute to the development and continuous optimisation of processes in purchasing disposition as well as in the newly created area of operational purchasing.
- You support cross-departmental coordination and projects.
- You have a commercial basic education as well as experience in disposition or operational purchasing.
- You have a good understanding of key figures such as stock turnover and coverage and use them purposefully.
- You have very good German and good English skills, as many suppliers are in the UK and US regions.
- You work in a structured, analytical and process-oriented manner.
- You bring initiative, a sense of responsibility and enjoy actively shaping a developing environment.
- You convince through your communication skills, team orientation and a constructive approach to internal and external partners.
