Trade Compliance Specialist (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,500 - 130,000For an established Swiss high-tech company, we are looking for a committed individual. The company develops and produces highly precise technical solutions for demanding international applications and stands for quality, reliability, and continuous development. Role:
For this newly created position, we are seeking a committed individual who will actively shape and further develop the area of export control and trade compliance. You will work closely with various internal departments and take responsibility for regulatory relevant topics in international business.
Responsibilities:
Handling and coordination of topics related to export control and trade compliance
Preparation and submission of export permits
Conducting sanctions, embargo, recipient, and end-use checks
Support in the classification of products and goods
Review of offers, orders, and business partners regarding regulatory requirements
Maintenance and documentation of export control and compliance relevant documents
Conducting internal audits and supporting the further development of existing compliance processes
Advising internal departments and sales on export and compliance issues
Qualifications:
Completed commercial, technical, business administration, or legal education or further training
Practical experience in export control, trade compliance, foreign trade, or a comparable regulatory environment
Knowledge of Swiss export control regulations as well as international frameworks is an advantage
Interest in legal and regulatory issues in international business
Technical understanding and the ability to familiarise yourself with products, goods lists, and classification systems
Very good German skills as well as good English skills; French skills are welcome
Structured and careful working style with a high level of quality and responsibility awareness
Strong analytical skills and enjoyment in collaborating with different departments
