To support the development of our Renovation business unit in Geneva, we are looking for several experienced project managers. In this role, you take charge of demanding and varied operations, from preparation to execution. You coordinate all involved parties and manage your projects with particular attention to costs, deadlines, quality and risks. Thanks to your experience, autonomy and decision-making ability, you directly contribute to the success of the projects entrusted to you.
Your area of responsibility
- Ensure overall management of construction projects, from preparation to execution, in direct contact with the client
- Guarantee effective organisation and planning of the project and ensure compliance with cost, deadline and quality objectives
- Identify risks, anticipate issues and propose technical and economic solutions and alternatives
- Develop and monitor schedules, specifications and documents necessary for project management
- Manage project costs, analyse variances and handle contractually agreed extras and reductions
- Conduct tenders and negotiations with companies and prepare award proposals
- Coordinate and manage internal and external planning and execution teams, as well as the various project partners
- Ensure management of the Halter project team and maintain a proactive and professional relationship with the client
Required qualities
- Higher technical education in the construction field (architect, engineer, ES technician or equivalent qualification)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing construction projects, ideally in total or general contracting with strong experience of the Swiss market highly desirable
- Solid technical knowledge of all trades and good understanding of the different phases of a project
- Excellent mastery of issues related to costs, deadlines and quality
- Entrepreneurial spirit, solution orientation and ability to anticipate and make decisions
- Autonomy, sense of responsibility and ability to prioritise effectively
- Team spirit, leadership and ease in negotiation and coordination of multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills and good command of IT tools and common construction project management software
