As a complement to our sales team based in Pratteln, we are looking to hire by arrangement a:

Field Sales Executive (Field Sales) for Road Transport, 100% (m/f)

(Basel Region)

In this role, you are responsible for the care, development and expansion of potential and existing customers. You will significantly and sustainably contribute to improving the services for the customers assigned to you.

Your area of responsibility:

• Building, further developing and managing our customers in the Basel region, especially in the area of land transport, customs clearance, but also air and sea freight.
• Creating customer profiles, identifying customer needs, preparing and following up on customer-specific offers and concepts on time.
• Personal sales of DHL Global Forwarding services as well as acquisition of new transports and customers.
• Managing existing customers and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Preparing weekly plans as well as pre- and post-visit processing.
• Gathering information about market developments and competitors.

Your profile:

For this interesting and demanding position, you have a commercial education in the forwarding industry in the field of land transport (customs, air and/or sea freight advantageous) and bring corresponding sales experience from the logistics sector. You have good language skills in German and English, are resilient and responsible. You understand customer needs and are an excellent communicator. Your reliability, negotiation skills, analytical abilities, confident appearance and goal-oriented actions complete your profile.
