Project Manager: Education & Youth+Sport (J+S) 80%
As part of the Education team, you take on a central role in the further development of our training and continuing education system with a special focus on Youth+Sport (J+S) and collaboration with national education partners.
You coordinate and lead training offers, further develop them, and accompany projects in the education sector. In doing so, you support committed volunteers as well as J+S experts in their development and actively contribute to topics of water safety and drowning prevention.
At the SLRG office, we work self-organised and with a collegial leadership approach. This means: a lot of personal responsibility, co-creation, and room for new ideas. You actively shape the future educational work of the SLRG.
Your field of activity
You are responsible for the content-related, structural, and conceptual further development of the J+S training and continuing education offers in the sport of lifesaving swimming
You plan, organise, lead, and evaluate J+S modules and continuing education offers for J+S leaders and J+S experts
You ensure the quality of J+S training and consistently implement the training and quality standards of Youth+Sport
You actively work on the further development of the sport and promote a versatile motor skills base.
You integrate cross-sport topics such as ethics, prevention, safety, and integration into training and continuing education
You lead projects and working groups in the education sector and contribute to the further development of the education system
You support the Education team with other tasks and in collaboration with partners (e.g. esa, ILSE)
What you bring
Completed university degree with a pedagogical, sports science, or comparable orientation
High affinity for the area of water safety; ideally, you have already completed water safety training in open or closed waters and bring expertise in drowning prevention and water rescue, as well as sound knowledge of Youth+Sport (J+S); knowledge of esa is an advantage
J+S expert recognition or willingness to obtain it
Experience in planning, organising, and conducting educational offers
Experience in project management and enjoyment in taking on responsibility
Confident appearance, high teaching and communication skills, as well as organisational talent
Networked, solution-oriented, and structured working style
Team spirit, flexibility, and a service-oriented attitude
Willingness for continuous further education in the fields of education and sport
Responsible conduct in line with J+S values and the Ethics Charter
Fluent German skills as well as active knowledge of at least one other official language (French and/or Italian)
