YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Leading the further development and implementation of contract standards and governance requirements
- Assessment and management of legal issues in the procurement environment
- Conducting complex contract negotiations with international suppliers (including structuring and negotiating framework agreements with strategic suppliers)
- Analysis and implementation of regulatory requirements (e.g. CRA, Data Act) in contract documents
- Translating complex customer contract requirements into robust and scalable supplier contracts
- Ensuring overall contractual consistency including risk allocation and commercial optimisation along the supply chain
- Cross-functional management of contractual matters with engineering, purchasing, and project management
- Support for claim and dispute issues with suppliers
- Working in an international, highly regulated rail vehicle industry environment with direct impact on project risks, costs, and supplier performance
- Shaping digitalisation (including use and further development of Legal AI) and standardisation of contract processes
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from a university of applied sciences/university in business law or legal sciences with relevant professional experience of at least 8 years in contract management / procurement / legal
- Proven experience in international contract negotiations and dealing with complex industrial supply chains (e.g. rail, plant engineering)
- Professional experience in the Swiss legal system
- Assertiveness and negotiation skills at senior level
- Decisiveness and high resilience in critical situations
- Confident stakeholder management, even in escalation situations
- Ability to translate technical requirements into reliable contract structures
- Fluent German and English skills for negotiation
