Together with the municipality of Felsberg, we are commissioning two new photovoltaic systems on the school roofs and are thus on course to achieve the ambitious goals of the Energy City Felsberg.
With the photovoltaic systems on the roofs of the school and daycare centre in Felsberg, two new photovoltaic systems went online in the rhiienergie area at the end of August 2018. Christian Capaul, Managing Director of rhiienergie, is pleased about the addition: "The municipality of Felsberg has set itself the goal of supplying the entire village with 100% renewable energy by 2050. We are pleased to be able to actively support the municipality in this." The systems with a total output of 125.82 kWp were realised in summer 2018 over the course of about a month together with Rhiienergie AG.
The municipality of Felsberg has been an Energy City since 2009 and is committed to sustainable energy supply and use. In Felsberg, solar energy is to be specifically promoted. "There are now four solar systems on the school grounds. This means the school is on its way to becoming an energy school," explains Lucrezia Furrer, President of the Municipality of Felsberg.
Rhiienergie AG has been implementing large-scale systems for over 10 years. Its portfolio includes, among others, the photovoltaic systems on the roofs of Gebr. Kuoni Transport AG, Heineken, Hamilton Ems AG, as well as the PVA A 13, the world’s first photovoltaic system on a noise protection wall.
