The musculoskeletal centre combines orthopaedic surgery and traumatology.
The spectrum of our orthopaedic clinic covers almost the entire field of orthopaedics – excluding spinal and paediatric orthopaedics. Focus areas include minimally invasive endoprosthetics of the knee, hip and shoulder joints as well as sports orthopaedics and ankle and foot surgery.
Our traumatology covers the entire range of conservative and operative care for injuries of the musculoskeletal system (excluding the spine) – with special emphasis on arthroscopic surgery and the treatment of complex fractures.
This is where you get involved
- in the care, treatment and education of patients in the plaster room including emergency care
- in the application of offloading measures for diabetic foot syndrome (up to full contact plaster)
- in the application of complex immobilisations in the surgical department, especially traumatology, hand surgery and orthopaedics
- in performing dressings, fixations and repositioning on medical orders
- in appointment scheduling and organisation of the plaster room
- in supporting infiltrations under image intensifier (II)
You
- have professional experience as a plaster specialist (advantageous)
- have completed training as a Dipl. Nursing Specialist HF/FH
