About the job
The Centre for Paraplegia at the University Hospital Balgrist in Zurich is a highly specialised clinic for the acute treatment and rehabilitation of patients with spinal cord injuries and generalised peripheral paralysis. The care mandate covers the entire neurological treatment chain from acute neurology through early rehabilitation (including ventilation) including complication management to vocational rehabilitation and social reintegration.
We are looking to appoint a
Assistant Physician 100% in Neurology Training (m/f/d)
Centre for Paraplegia
Your Tasks
- Responsible for the care of patients in the inpatient setting
- Medical care and coordination of interdisciplinary collaboration neurologically, neuro-urologically, internally and surgically
- Planning and accompanying the rehabilitative course in the interdisciplinary team
Your Profile
- At least one year of clinical experience in the field of neurology, internal medicine, rehabilitation medicine or psychiatry
- You already have knowledge and experience in the diagnosis and therapy of specific neurological diseases and want to deepen these in general neurology and neurological rehabilitation
- You want to take responsibility in a specialised medical team to represent the Centre for Paraplegia both clinically and scientifically and to optimally shape the medical care of patients
- With your social skills and empathy, you understand the needs and concerns of people with disabilities and support and coordinate interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ideally, you bring scientific interest and research experience to further develop academically at the University of Zurich
- MEBEKO recognition of your medical diploma or corresponding initial confirmation
