The University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland FHNW is looking for a committed and dynamic person to strengthen our team in the area of personnel and payroll. We offer a supportive environment in collaboration and focused training to become a Social Insurance Specialist and Payroll Specialist.
In this position, you will develop into a competent contact person in the area of payroll and social insurance with our support. You will be accompanied by experienced colleagues and simultaneously complete the training to become a Social Insurance Specialist with a federal certificate as well as the Payroll Specialist with a diploma (the costs for both trainings are covered by FHNW).
The most important aspects of your tasks at a glance:
- Operational support of personnel administration staff in payroll, withholding tax, and social insurance-specific questions
- Collaboration in communication with external bodies such as social insurance institutions and tax offices
- Support for the monthly payroll run
- Maintenance of personnel master data and use of SAP HCM as well as UKA-Solutions for various tasks, control, and reconciliation work
- Ensuring the correct implementation of FHNW regulations as well as national and international legal provisions
Do you have the desire and energy to develop into a payroll and social insurance specialist and do you recognize yourself in the following questions?
- Do you have a completed commercial apprenticeship or an equivalent education?
- Have you already had contact points or experience in payroll accounting and/or in the area of social insurance?
- Are you interested in combining theory and practice to successfully complete the training as a Social Insurance Specialist with a federal certificate and the Payroll Specialist in a goal-oriented manner?
- Are you confident in using common Office and various portal applications and proficient with digital tools?
- Are you also a reliable, service- and team-oriented person with an efficient working style and communicate well orally and in writing in German?
You will receive comprehensive training as a Social Insurance Specialist as well as a qualification as a Payroll Specialist. These trainings enable you to appear on the job market as a sought-after professional with extensive and international knowledge in payroll accounting.
The personnel administration team at FHNW works in a dynamic and lively work environment. It is in regular contact with various stakeholders and external partners and ensures the monthly payroll and fee payments to around 3,300 employees and 1,500 guest lecturers. The increasing international orientation of FHNW brings new and exciting challenges every day.
This position is limited to three years and is not tied to any further obligations.
