About the job

Your Responsibilities

Focus on specialist medical care of internal medicine patients in our emergency department
Specialist co-management of inpatient and outpatient internal medicine patients (including IMC)
Interdisciplinary collaboration with all involved departments
Participation in senior physician duty and case discussions
Weekend duties in rotation with other senior and senior consultant physicians
Involvement in training for doctors
Training and supervision of assistant doctors
Participation in the development towards a Clinical Emergency Medicine SGNOR Category 3 training centre

Your Profile

Specialist title in General Internal Medicine or imminent completion
Optional specialist title in Clinical Emergency Medicine SGNOR or in training for it
The position is also suitable for advanced assistant doctors shortly before specialist qualification as an entry into the senior consultant role
Experience in the Swiss healthcare system
Teamwork, flexibility, independence
Communicative personality with high social competence
Willingness for interdisciplinary collaboration and interest in hospital operations
Interest in a long-term commitment with career development opportunities
