The company PQM Consulting AG based in Pfäffikon SZ is a renowned IT company specializing in quality assurance and quality management. The company offers its customers professional support in optimizing their quality requirements and divides its core competencies into four main components: project/risk management, quality management, requirements management, and process management.

For an external client project in the greater Zurich area, we are looking for an experienced, competent individual for the role of Application Developer at the senior level (from 5-8 years) starting from 16.02.2026

Main tasks:

Software development Java / DevOps investment services / Software Engineer Senior (Java, FullStack in the area of investments & pensions)

Must have:

Very good knowledge of Java and Java development tools

Knowledge of Angular/TypeScript

At least 5 years of experience as a software developer in the Java environment - focus on backend development, with a good understanding of frontend development

Nice to have:

Knowledge of JSF is an advantage

Quick comprehension, pronounced analytical thinking

Open and communicative personality, strong team player

Willingness to take on operational tasks (DevOps)

Enjoyment and interest in topics in and around the area of investments & pensions

Enjoy working in an environment with many dependencies (both technical and collaborative)

Tasks & Requirements (content, methodology, technology):

Solid education in computer science

Very good knowledge of Java and Java development tools

Knowledge of Angular/TypeScript

Knowledge of Spring, SQL, JDBC, Oracle DB, Linux

Knowledge of Angular/TypeScript

Knowledge of JSF is an advantage

Basic professional knowledge in the area of investments

Work environment:

Virtual DevOps team Alogators Our team "DevOps Investment Services" develops and operates services for the area of investments & pensions in the sense of the DevOps approach.

We are looking for additional support for the further development of our investment modules in eBanking and the necessary functions in the backends

Requirements: (language oral / written)

German: C1 – Proficient language use

English: B2 – Upper Intermediate – First (FCE)

Onsite 60%, 40% home office, home office is only allowed from Swiss airspace
