About the job

The EFAJE is a network that brings together 31 municipalities from the Gros-de-Vaud district and surrounding areas wishing to unite their efforts to manage and develop quality day care services in order to better meet the needs of their citizens. To date, three sectors are represented: Family Day Care, which includes around sixty family carers, nine preschool structures, and nineteen after-school structures. As part of maternity leave cover, we are looking, for a fixed term, for a:

65% Stewardship Manager

The position is located at the Hirondelle Daycare in Bercher, which has a capacity of 64 places divided into 4 groups.
The working hours are spread over 5 days a week from 12:15 pm to 5:30 pm.

Your tasks:

• Ensure the maintenance, hygiene and cleanliness of the premises, laundry and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
• Receive, check and set up meals provided by the caterer, then manage the dishes.
• Actively contribute to collaboration and the smooth daily running of the structure.
• Effectively manage food and cleaning product stocks.

Your profile:

You are an organised, autonomous and conscientious person who enjoys teamwork. You demonstrate flexibility, discretion and a good sense of responsibility. You are able to plan your work, manage priorities and take initiatives within the institutional framework.
Experience in stewardship, particularly in a community setting, is an asset. You are sensitive to hygiene and safety rules and ensure a clean, welcoming environment adapted to the needs of children and teams.
You hold Swiss nationality or a valid residence permit as well as a clean criminal record.
