Continuing Education

Continuing education is essential for any professional career. Whether it is to deepen specific topics and acquire specialised skills in a field after a generalist training, to support a professional transition to another area of activity, or to take on new responsibilities such as those of a trainer in professional practice.

Developing skills requires acquiring theoretical tools and approaches as well as practical experience in the field, and working on the connection between them.

ESSIL offers various types of continuing education, also in partnership with other schools and institutions.

ESSIL Continuing Education

ESSIL offers continuing education in various areas of the social field, developed with recognised experts in their domain. These courses allow participants to acquire expertise or update their knowledge. Various formats are offered depending on the topics.

ESSIL Conferences and Events

Through meetings, social and political news, and partner requests, ESSIL organises conferences, events, and training sessions at its premises in the centre of Lausanne.

Professional Practice

This long training, developed in partnership with the Haute Ecole de Formation Professionnelle and other higher education institutions, leads to the qualification required to support students during their training.
