Job Description

Mission

Ensure the bio-cleaning of the operating theatre under optimal safety conditions by providing highly efficient and competent service.

Specific daily tasks:

CLEANING BETWEEN OPERATIONS IN THE OPERATING THEATRE

• Cleaning of DMX
• Cleaning of furniture, floors and horizontal surfaces
• Waste disposal
• Monitoring cleaning material stock

CHANGING ROOMS AND TOILETS

• Check laundry and bin bags, replace if necessary and dispose of them
• Clean the toilets (theatre and changing rooms) and mirrors
• Descale toilets at the end of the day
• Clean and tidy shoe racks, clogs, and theatre uniforms
• Handle the washing of clogs from the theatre and maternity (loading and unloading the washing machine) then store the theatre clogs
• Check the proper functioning of the clog washing machine and the level of its products
• Ensure the proper refilling of soaps, Swiss-Clean hydroalcoholic solution, hand towels, toilet protections, bags, etc.
• Place orders for products
• Store theatre uniforms and gowns arriving from the laundry in their respective storage areas
• Ensure the proper stocking of uniforms and accessories (various caps, etc.) in collaboration with the storekeeper

REST ROOM

• Empty full bins, dispose of them and replace liners
• Replenish cloths, hand towels, dishwashing liquids and washing machine products, etc.
• Load the dishwasher if necessary and put away clean dishes
• Clean work surfaces, microwave, tables, etc.

Qualifications

• One year experience in an operating theatre
• Native French speaker (or excellent knowledge)
• Good knowledge of English is a plus
