Test Manager

About the job

• You keep the threads together in the verification and validation of a newly developed ICT communication solution and act as the central contact person for the customer
• For this, you coordinate all necessary work steps in an agile environment (according to SAFe) with internal and external contacts, including the use of the test infrastructure, and remove obstacles around the test activities
• You implement the test strategy of the department, in alignment and collaboration with development as well as the technical leadership of the test engineers
• You support the development of well-thought-out test cases: Based on requirements, you plan and create structured test scenarios
• You ensure that production-like test data is available in a timely manner, reflecting real deployment scenarios
• You participate in test execution, document the results and evaluate them
• You support continuous improvement through regular retrospectives and reviews
• You assist in the execution of system or solution demos

• Completed degree from a university of applied sciences or university in a technical field with solid telecommunications and computer science knowledge
• Several years of experience in software & hardware test engineering and test management
• Professional certification such as ISTQB or IREP
• Experience in project work in larger projects, ideally in a scaled agile environment (according to SAFe)
• Good analytical skills and structured working method
• Relevant experience with Spira Team, JIRA and Confluence
• Team-oriented, communicative, flexible and resilient personality
• Independent and self-reliant action in a high-tech environment
• Good German and English skills
