YOUR TASKS
- Develop, maintain, and update procedures, test specifications, and T&C workflows to ensure consistent execution
- Coordinate, execute, and report system deployments and field tests based on approved on-site test documentation
- Manage hardware and software configurations in the field, ensuring proper documentation and version control
- Record and analyze incidents and follow up on mitigation and corrective actions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in close collaboration with engineering, project manager, and client
- Plan electrical and mechanical modifications and procure components in coordination with engineering and project manager
- Perform or support other field activities (testing, limited electrical and mechanical modifications, etc.), including track work
- Work closely with the client and installation teams
YOUR PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
- Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (TU/FH) or comparable technical training
- Several years of practical work experience in the industrial sector, preferably in the railway sector
- Experience in commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting
- Experience in creating, reviewing, and maintaining technical documentation
- Experience in requirements management (IBM DNG, PLM, or similar)
- Knowledge of railway signaling systems (CBTC and/or mainline interlocking) is a highly advantageous asset
- Being a team player, solution-oriented, and flexible for night work and travel
- Fluency in English is mandatory, German or French fluently
