Specialist in Vocational and Career Counselling in Labour Market Integration 60 - 100 %

Diaconis operates three business areas: living and care in old age, palliative care, and professional integration. Our team comprises around 250 employees at several locations in the city of Bern, Ostermundigen, and Biel.

On behalf of the Canton of Bern, Diaconis' labour market integration offers various labour market measures for the sustainable professional integration of job-seeking persons. One of these is the EAR measure (Assessment of Labour Market-Relevant Resources), a location assessment and potential evaluation for German- and French-speaking job seekers. It is aimed at people with an unclear reintegration strategy when there is a need to clarify labour market-relevant skills and the integration potential for the labour market is to be assessed. The results form an important basis for further professional integration. The referring agency is the regional employment centre (RAV).

Your tasks with us

• You analyse together with the participants their professional experiences, skills, and development opportunities with regard to the current labour market
• You identify realistic job search areas and develop concrete professional prospects
• You define suitable job search areas together with the participants and create the professional foundations for the further reintegration strategy
• You bring your expertise on the labour market, job profiles, and career development specifically into the resource assessment
• You create well-founded resource profiles together with the case management specialist
• You work closely with the other specialists of the AMM EAR and contribute your professional perspective to the interdisciplinary assessment

What you bring with you

• You have a CAS in career diagnostics and career counselling for adults or an MAS in vocational, study, and career counselling
• You bring at least three years of proven professional experience in vocational integration
• You know the Swiss labour market and have sound knowledge of various professions and fields of activity
• You have experience in career counselling, resource assessment, potential analysis, or professional location assessment
• You can assess professional resources and skills in a differentiated manner and derive realistic prospects for the primary labour market
• You have very good German or French language skills, both spoken and written. Knowledge of the other language is an advantage
• You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner
• You are confident in using digital tools
