What you can achieve

Participation in school management and school development at the Kantonsschule Kollegium Schwyz
Co-responsibility for personnel management and evaluation of teaching staff
Educational and organisational leadership of the upper years of the short-term grammar school as well as the Passerelle course
Support of pupils in school and organisational matters
Taking on further school dossiers and projects
Close and constructive collaboration within the four-member school management team as well as with teachers and administration
Leadership duties 60%, teaching duties 20-40%

What distinguishes you

University degree and recognised teaching diploma for grammar schools
Several years of teaching experience at secondary level II
Leadership experience, for example in school management or in leading working groups, teams or projects
Completed school management training or willingness to complete it promptly
Strong communication and cooperation skills as well as an appreciative and binding leadership style
Organisational talent, decisiveness and a high sense of responsibility
Enjoyment of school development, innovation and jointly shaping a lively school culture
Structured, solution-oriented and independent working style
Resilience and confident handling of different stakeholder groups

Your field of activity

The Kantonsschule Kollegium Schwyz (KKS) operates a short-term grammar school with German-speaking and bilingual Matura, a Passerelle course as well as a talent programme (sports and music). Around 280 pupils and 80 teachers and staff form the school community. The KKS fosters a holistic understanding of education. In a familiar and personal environment, it offers its pupils a solid grammar school education while simultaneously promoting their personal development.
