Traffic safety is responsible for the specialised traffic police services of the Lucerne Police. It includes the specialist groups of security assistance, radar operators and fine processing.
The 14-member team of Police Security Assistance manages, among other things, stationary traffic. The employees carry out patrol duties and handle defined and assigned traffic police tasks. They are also deployed for traffic services in the context of parades, road closures and diversions.
Your tasks
- Support and representation of the Head of Police Security Assistance
- Targeted, professional and future-oriented leadership work
- Service and deployment planning
- Planning and conducting training in the traffic police area (OBG/OBV)
- Incident commander at special events in the traffic deployment section
- Assistance with objections/controlling of administrative fines
- Professional support of fine and control applications
Your profile
- Completion of police training or certificate in Police Security Assistance
- Several years of professional experience
- Confident appearance and communication skills as well as team and integration skills
- Organisational skills and business interest
- Analytical, networked thinking and acting as well as confident use of IT tools
- Precise, efficient working style
