Would you like to make a direct contribution to excellent patient care through your leadership work? Then become part of our Central Patient and Referral Management (PZM), the central hub for patients, families, referrers and internal specialist departments at UKBB. In this versatile leadership role, you are one of four team leaders in the Patient Management Centre (PZM). You take on the personnel and professional leadership of the inpatient admission and day clinic with four employees, the IV coordination with two employees, as well as the emergency admission with seven employees. You will be actively supported by a deputy. You actively shape administrative processes, further develop workflows and ensure that patients and their families are accompanied professionally, efficiently and service-oriented from the first contact.

Your tasks

• Personnel, professional and organisational leadership of the teams in inpatient admission and day clinic, IV coordination and emergency admission
• Responsibility for ensuring efficient and service-oriented administrative processes along the patient pathway
• Central contact person for patient-related administrative processes and interfaces
• Further development, optimisation and documentation of processes and workflows
• Promotion of a customer-oriented, quality-conscious and constructive team culture
• Assumption of delegated tasks from the department management, including evaluations, reporting and management of the personnel deployment planning system (PEP Polypoint)
• Close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
• Active participation in the operational day-to-day business in inpatient admission and day clinic

Your profile

• You have completed commercial training or a comparable qualification and have experience in the medical-administrative field. Ideally, you have also completed further training in healthcare or leadership.
• You have several years of professional and leadership experience, preferably in healthcare, in a patient-oriented service organisation or in the environment of health insurance companies.
• You are proficient in the use of common Microsoft 365 applications and ideally have experience with SAP IS-H or other clinical information systems.
• You have good spoken English skills. Knowledge of French and/or Italian is an advantage.
• You are characterised by a high degree of personal responsibility, resilience, flexibility and reliability.
• Your working style is structured, solution-oriented and networked.
• You convince with pronounced communication and leadership skills.
• You appreciate interdisciplinary collaboration and enjoy networking medical, nursing and administrative requirements.
