Your Tasks
For our clinical pharmacy team consisting of five other clinical pharmacists, we are looking for a colleague for a permanent position as well as for maternity cover until the end of August 2026. You support the optimal and safe drug therapy of the patients at KSA through the following activities: Medication review within the framework of interprofessional ward rounds in the fields of medicine and surgery; answering clinical-pharmaceutical consultations and collaborating in the drug information service; processing safety reports from the in-house electronic tool for detecting potential drug-related problems; collecting/controlling the best possible medication history for surgical patients; collaborating in the processing of pharmacovigilance reports and the continuous improvement of medication safety at KSA. The latter also includes collaboration in the medication master data management of the clinical information systems (CIS) and the creation and updating of prescription sets in the CIS. Participation in interprofessional commissions and projects, training for various professional groups, mentoring of trainees in hospital and clinical pharmacy, as well as supervising pharmacy interns (including master theses if interested) complete your interesting and diverse tasks in the Clinical Pharmacy of KSA. In addition to these tasks, you participate about three times a year in the on-call service of the hospital pharmacy.
Your Profile
You have a federal pharmacist diploma (or a recognized foreign diploma) as well as a FPH certificate in clinical pharmacy or an equivalent foreign training, or a specialist pharmacist title in hospital pharmacy and experience in clinical-pharmaceutical tasks. You enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration and have good communication skills in German, both written and spoken.
