Administrative Assistant in Human Resources and Finance 80 - 100%The Kantonsschule Enge Zurich is a short-term high school with the Matura profiles "Economics and Law", "New Languages" and "Philosophy, Pedagogy, Psychology" as well as a commercial middle school (HMS). In the Economics and Law profile, we also offer a bilingual Matura course in German/English. In addition, we run some classes in the "Akzent Campus", where an innovative teaching model with phase teaching is combined with a focus on sustainability and collaboration. At the Kantonsschule Enge, around 1,100 students are taught by 150 teachers, and 30 employees in administration and operations ensure the smooth running of the school.
Our secretariat is the most important point of contact for students, parents, and teachers. To support our secretariat team, we are looking for a competent and proactive administrative assistant to start immediately or by arrangement.
You will work closely with the school management and the deputy (Head of Central Services).
Your tasks
- Assisting the school management in planning and organizing in the areas of personnel, finance, student affairs, projects and events, as well as general administration
- Working in general school administration including telephone and counter service
- Ensuring interfaces between the needs of all internal and external stakeholders
- Personnel administration (processing entries and exits)
- Formulating and implementing decisions and orders
- Accounting (posting and reconciling cash, processing creditors and debtors, etc.)
- Compensation formalities (billing and triggering compensation for substitutes, teacher replacements, commissions, and third parties)
Your profile
For this exciting position, we look forward to an empathetic, conscientious, and independent person who is resilient and acts in a service- and solution-oriented manner. You convince with your high motivation and ability to work in a team and always keep an overview thanks to your structured and precise way of working to manage the tasks at hand. You have completed commercial or equivalent training, ideally with experience in accounting and personnel administration. Your proficient writing skills and flawless, stylistically confident German are a matter of course; English skills are an advantage. Very good IT user skills complete your profile.
