The position is attached to the Department of Surgery. This department provides care for patients both electively and in emergencies. It represents a center of excellence, not only Swiss but also European in several fields and in many of its surgical specialties.
Job Description
As a head of clinic, with or without a specialty title, you will join the hand and peripheral nerve surgery unit.
You will ensure clinical activities, surgical interventions, inpatient follow-up, and projects within the unit.
In this context, you will participate in the supervision and training of resident doctors.
As head of clinic, you will participate in the on-call duties of the hand and peripheral nerve surgery unit.
Qualifications
You hold the federal medical diploma or have training deemed equivalent by the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO).
Ideally, you hold an FMH title in hand surgery or have an equivalent title recognized by MEBEKO.
You possess the cantonal practice license or are able to obtain it before starting your position from the Geneva cantonal doctor.
You are autonomous in the field of microsurgery.
For non-French speakers, a C1 level in spoken and written French is required.
You have excellent communication skills within a multidisciplinary team and with patients, you are dynamic, flexible, and committed. Additionally, you have demonstrated strong adaptability skills.
Additional Information
You can work both daytime hours and night and weekend shifts.
