About the job
Your responsibilities
- You will act as the primary interface between the company and designated Key Account customers, building long-term relationships and representing the organization across all relevant business areas.
- You will develop a thorough understanding of customer organizations, processes and requirements to identify business opportunities and increase the company's share of wallet.
- You will proactively monitor market developments, customer activities and competitor trends to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
- You will develop, implement and continuously update Key Account strategies and customer action plans in alignment with company objectives.
- You will prepare, coordinate and conduct customer reviews and strategic meetings to strengthen partnerships and support sustainable business development.
- You will lead and coordinate commercial activities, including negotiations, bid preparation, proposal management and follow-up to secure business opportunities.
- You will collaborate closely with management, product sales teams and other internal stakeholders to align customer requirements with company capabilities and priorities.
- You will monitor commercial performance and contribute to revenue and profitability growth in line with management expectations.
- You will ensure compliance with applicable Defense, security and regulatory requirements while handling sensitive information with the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Your profile
- You hold a university degree in a business or technical field, or an equivalent qualification supported by relevant professional experience in sales and account management.
- You have several years of experience in a similar role and a proven track record in managing strategic customer relationships and achieving commercial objectives.
- You possess an in-depth understanding of the Defense and military equipment market.
- You have a solid understanding of the regulatory, security and compliance requirements applicable to the Defense industry and are able to assess risks, recognize decision-making boundaries and escalate matters appropriately.
- You demonstrate a strong security and compliance mindset, handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion while consistently applying established rules and procedures, even under pressure.
- You are recognized for your strong commercial and customer-oriented mindset. Your enthusiastic and open personality, combined with excellent communication, adaptability, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, sets you apart. You are resilient, self-confident, and assertive in your approach.
- You are fluent in English and German, French is considered an asset.
