What you'll be doing here
- Strengthen the Institute's and HAFL's visibility and reputation in international agricultural, forest, food sciences, and resource management research and education
- Create and disseminate internal and external communications to promote the work of the Institute and its staff, students and partners
- Collaborate with internal and external colleagues and partners to ensure effective communication
- Organise the Institute's Annual Event and other communication and knowledge management practices
- Write and publish website news stories and project/staff profiles, as well as working paper series, newsletters, press releases, social media posts, audiovisual materials, etc.
What you'll bring with you
- Relevant bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in communication/marketing or agricultural/forest/food or life sciences or international development
- Minimum 3–5 years working in corporate or university communications, marketing, science communications, or other relevant fields, including event organisation
- Writing, networking, communication and organisational skills, ideally in the relevant thematic areas (agricultural/forest/food and life sciences)
- Independent yet team-oriented work approach; intercultural and interdisciplinary skills and interests; expertise and/or interest in international cooperation and development
- English native speaker, with good knowledge of German and ideally also French
