These are your tasks
- Lead a team of 9 employees and bear personnel responsibility for the area
- Be responsible for the entire warehouse management including the warehouse management system SAP EWM as well as the execution and organisation of the inventory
- Lead logistics projects and actively participate in cross-departmental projects
- Conduct professional and partnership-based exchanges with relevant stakeholders inside and outside the department
- Ensure consistent compliance with occupational safety and exemplify this as a leader
- Continuously optimise costs, processes and throughput times considering quality, efficiency and occupational safety
- Create relevant key figures, collect and analyse statistics and derive appropriate measures from them
This is what sets you apart
- Completed vocational training or degree with further education in logistics/supply chain management
- Several years of professional experience in logistics as well as experience in a comparable leadership role
- Ability to motivate, develop and inspire employees
- Sound knowledge of occupational safety as well as very good user knowledge of SAP MM, SAP EWM and MS Office
- SUVA-recognised forklift course and experience in transport are advantageous
- Analytical and networked thinking, quick comprehension, high assertiveness and solution orientation as well as pragmatic action
- Clear, appreciative communication, empathy, authenticity, ambition and the ability to lead by example as a leader
