Your tasks
What to expect:
- Independent project work at the interface between theory and practice with our internationally active partner companies in the DACH region
- Interdisciplinary work in a motivated team (remote work possible to some extent)
- Highly current practice-oriented research topics in designing sustainable strategies, processes, and application systems for the financial industry
- Time-plannable doctoral studies (3.5 years)
- The employment is through BEI AG in Switzerland, the workplace is St. Gallen. "The supervision of the doctoral project is carried out by Prof. Dr. Reinhard Jung at the Institute of Information Management at the University of St. Gallen.
Your profile
What you should bring:
- Degree from a university with a focus on information management, information systems, banking informatics, banking, or related fields with a grade point average of at least 2.0 (equivalent to 5.0 in Switzerland)
- A confident appearance as well as pronounced analytical and communication skills
- Interest in scientific work, banking topics, and the innovative use of IT as well as initial professional experience
- High commitment and willingness to perform, to engage with questions at the interface of research and practice
