Social Pedagogical Employee 70-80% for the Opal Children's Residential Group
The children and young people with cognitive, multiple and psychological impairments as well as behavioural difficulties are the focus of daily work in the children's residential groups at the St. Josef Foundation.
The OPAL residential group is a lively home for seven children and young people with cognitive, multiple and psychological impairments as well as special behavioural difficulties. Our everyday life is varied, full of beautiful moments, but also challenging. In addition to much joy of life, working with us also involves psychiatric aspects that require a clear attitude, patience and resilience.
We are looking for a committed individual who enjoys intensive and dynamic work, is open to children and young people with special behaviours, and remains calm, humorous and team-spirited even in difficult situations.
With us, you can expect a creative, supportive team that sticks together, overcomes challenges together and celebrates successes. We also offer a lot of variety in everyday life, exciting leisure activities and unforgettable experiences.
- You help shape the living and development environment of the children/young people
- You take on key worker duties and implement the coordination of the empowerment plans
- You work with internal and external specialists as well as family members and legal guardians
- You have experience working with children with cognitive impairments
- You have a social pedagogical qualification or an equivalent professional education level (FaBe, social pedagogy, social work, childhood pedagogy)
- You are motivated, empathetic, patient, self-responsible, enthusiastic and enjoy working in a team
- You are willing to work irregular and split shifts as well as on-call duties at night and accompany camps
- You appreciate interdisciplinary collaboration and are keen to represent the needs of the children and young people
