YOUR TASKS

• You will care for patients with diabetes in inpatient and outpatient settings and conduct diabetes therapies at various locations, including malnutrition, nephrology and visceral surgery procedures with a focus on the pancreas
• You will conduct individual training, counselling and support for T1DM, T2DM, GDM and specific forms of diabetes
• You will organise and coordinate the diabetes and endocrinology consultation hours
• You will ensure close interprofessional collaboration with medical services, nursing, nutritional counselling and external partners such as home care and nursing homes
• You will actively engage in health promotion and prevention
• You will contribute to quality assurance and the further development of diabetes care
• You will instruct and support patients in the use of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and insulin pumps
• You will organise and conduct training and further education for nursing staff and assistant doctors

YOUR PROFILE

• You have completed training as a registered nurse HF/FH and further training as a diabetes specialist consultant HöFa1/DAS/HFP (including SRK recognition for foreign diplomas)
• Professional experience in the field is an advantage
• You are willing to develop personally and professionally and actively help shape the development of a continuously evolving field
• You work independently, responsibly and reliably
• You have very good oral and written German skills (at least level C1); English and French skills are an advantage
