The EOC, the multi-site hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory for a total of 1,000 beds. To complete the team of the Hospital Pharmacy Service of the Institute of Pharmacological Sciences of Italian Switzerland (ISFSI) at the Regional Hospital of Lugano, we are looking for a
Pharmacy Assistant (100%)
Profile:
The person we are looking for actively listens to their interlocutors, ensuring appropriate advice, correct handling of medicines according to current directives and regulations, and effective interaction with patients.
They know how to act quickly using their knowledge, technical and relational skills to interact with the various hospital services and inpatients; maintaining effective and efficient relationships with different interlocutors. They respond to requests with flexibility and competence. They actively participate in the centralised preparation of cytostatics and the on-call service.
They believe, as we do, in the importance of putting the patient at the centre of all our attention.
Necessary requirements:
- Federal certificate of capacity (AFC) as a pharmacy assistant, medical assistant, laboratory technician, biologist/chemist laboratory technician or equivalent qualification;
- Excellent command of the Italian language and good knowledge of German or French;
- Good IT skills;
- Good organisational, relational and communication skills.
Start date:
The contract is intended to be fixed-term until 1 June 2027 at the latest.
