About the job
PEKO has been successfully operating as a personnel service provider for over 40 years. The majority of our employees are permanently employed by us and contribute to our shared success through their work at various client sites in the machinery industry, environmental, energy, nuclear, and railway technology sectors. In addition to the temporary placement of specialists, we also mediate permanent positions and carry out our own projects and manufacturing orders.
To strengthen our own team, we are immediately seeking a Personnel Consultant – a personality who loves acquisition, takes responsibility, and understands caring for people as the core of their job.
Your tasks – responsible & versatile
- New customer acquisition: You assist in identifying potential customers, build contacts, and develop them into long-term partnerships.
- Existing customer care: You actively support your customers, recognise needs early, and strategically develop the customer base.
- Consultation with a focus on labour law: You are the contact person for labour law questions in personnel leasing.
- Employee support during assignments: You stay close – from onboarding through assignment start and regular status checks to conflict resolution and further development.
- Recruitment & matching: You conduct interviews, assess suitability (both professional and personal), coordinate candidate processes, and ensure high quality at every stage.
- Independent portfolio management: You plan and manage your daily business independently, set priorities, and bring structure to the pipeline, appointments, and follow-ups.
What you bring
- Several years of experience as a personnel consultant
- A network in the region is an advantage.
- Very good understanding of Swiss labour law in the context of personnel leasing (GAV, contract law, duties/processes) – you advise confidently and accurately, not on a whim.
- High degree of independence and personal responsibility: You do not need close supervision but clear goals – and you achieve them.
- People orientation and communication skills: You enjoy working with employees and customers.
- Very good German skills; English and/or French are advantageous. You use MS Office 365 proficiently.
Why Peko:
- Quality instead of haste: You build relationships, not just deals.
- Personal responsibility with support: You have freedom – and a team that delivers.
- Closeness to employees: Support is not a "nice-to-have" for us but the core of our claim.
- Long-term thinking: We want suitable assignments and satisfied people.
- Attractive employment conditions: Salary package, company car, social insurance benefits, pleasant workplace, etc.
- We are a small, well-coordinated, and helpful team with modern infrastructure. We actively promote wishes for professional development – and we work on equal footing with a good dose of humour.
