Operations Manager Garden and Landscaping 100%

starting 1 August 2026 or by arrangement.

The Garden and Landscaping department of the Bühl Foundation is committed to ensuring that young people with intellectual or learning disabilities achieve a good apprenticeship qualification, enabling them to lead as independent a life as possible, integrate professionally and socially, and participate in society. We are looking for people who are passionate about their work, enjoy working in a team, and pass on their expertise to the apprentices in training.

Your responsibilities

• You take overall professional, personnel, and financial responsibility for the Garden and Landscaping operation with five employees and up to seven apprentices.
• Together with your team, you ensure that the requirements of production and the training mandate are balanced and successfully implemented.
• You develop and implement innovative ideas and concepts for the sustainable, professional, and entrepreneurial development of the operation.
• You accompany the apprentices in their professional development and promote their professional as well as personal skills. In doing so, you create a supportive environment that provides stability and orientation even in challenging situations.
• You maintain a trusting collaboration with internal and external specialist agencies, partner companies, and our customers. You actively expand these relationships.
• Acquisition of new contracts as well as maintenance of our customers and ensuring their satisfaction.

Your qualifications

• Completed training as a landscape gardener EFZ
• Further education in the green sector at the level of higher vocational education, e.g. with a federal specialist certificate or completion of a higher technical school.
• Completed training in the social or work pedagogy field is an advantage
• Enjoyment of the profession as well as appropriate handling of young people with special behaviours/needs
• Leadership experience, business management knowledge, and experience in apprentice training
• Creativity, flexibility, reliability, and teamwork skills
• Driving licence category B
