The Opportunity
What You Can Achieve
- Carrying out installations, commissioning, maintenance, and repairs on HITACHI ENERGY products and systems, especially in the fields of high voltage, energy transmission, and distribution.
- Troubleshooting and resolving faults in complex electrical systems and installations.
- Preparing service reports and documentation after each assignment.
- Advising customers on technical issues and optimisation possibilities.
- Training customer personnel in the operation of the plants.
- Compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland and occasionally abroad.
- Participation in on-call duty (standby) outside regular working hours.
- Continuous training and updating of expertise on new products and technologies.
Your Background
- Completed technical training (e.g. electrician, electronics technician, automation technician) or degree (e.g. electrical engineering, energy technology).
- Several years of professional experience in service or maintenance of electrical systems, ideally in the energy sector.
- Solid knowledge of high voltage technology, switchgear, and control systems is an advantage.
- Confident handling of measuring and testing equipment.
- Good German language skills in spoken and written form (Swiss German is an advantage), as well as good English skills. French language skills are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- High level of initiative, sense of responsibility, and customer orientation.
- Valid driving licence category B.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel.
