Teachers for Visual Arts for the Affoltern am Albis Branch 30%The Kantonsschule Limmattal is a grammar school for the regions of Knonauer Amt and Limmattal and is located in Urdorf. It comprises a two-year lower level (7th/8th school year) and the subsequent short grammar school (9th–12th school year).
In the coming years, our school will be expanded by a branch in Affoltern am Albis. In the first operational year 2027/28, some initial classes of the lower grammar school will be taught at the Urdorf location; they will move to Affoltern a. A. as soon as the new school building is ready for occupancy (expected for the 2028/29 school year). From the 2029/30 school year, new classes of the upper grammar school will also be formed in Affoltern a. A.
Tasks
At the start of the 2027/28 school year, we are looking for teachers for Visual Arts who will teach 4-6 half-classes, jointly drive the development of a new educational environment with the founding team, and contribute to the establishment of the Visual Arts department and its associated collection. After the project phase is completed, the teaching workload can be expanded.
Profile
You have a completed university degree in the teaching subject and the teaching diploma for grammar schools or are in the process of obtaining it. You have already gained initial teaching experience at a Swiss secondary school. You are motivated to engage with pioneering spirit and innovative ideas in the context of the new branch’s development project, class management, and school development. Furthermore, you are willing to contribute to the school community as well as in the planning and management of special weeks. You are proactive, communicative, and enjoy taking responsibility.
