HVAC Project Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 110,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a committed professional for the planning, design and realisation of modern heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in a specialised building technology and engineering environment. You will handle demanding new construction, conversion and renovation projects across various SIA planning phases and, depending on your professional experience, take on independent project management or develop specifically towards this function. The focus is on technical HVAC planning, CAD and BIM modelling, energy optimisation as well as interdisciplinary coordination with architecture, sanitary and electrical engineering. The position offers diverse building technology projects, regular practical experience on construction sites and the opportunity to actively incorporate innovative technologies, materials and energy-efficient system solutions into the planning.
Responsibilities:
Planning and design of HVAC systems for demanding residential, commercial, industrial and public building projects
Project processing according to SIA phases from concept development and preliminary design through construction project and tendering to execution planning and realisation
Technical design of heating systems including heat generation, heat distribution, hydraulic systems and energy-efficient control concepts
Planning and dimensioning of ventilation and air conditioning systems with air volume calculations, duct network planning, system conception and heat recovery
CAD and BIM-supported building technology planning with creation and coordination of installation plans, system schematics and digital specialist models
Energy optimisation of HVAC systems with evaluation of energy consumption, operational efficiency, renewable energy sources and sustainable building technology concepts
Interdisciplinary specialist planner coordination with alignment of HVAC installations to architecture, structural planning, sanitary technology and electrical planning
Technical calculations and verifications including heating load calculations, air volume determination, pressure loss calculations and dimensioning of system components
Tendering and awarding support with preparation of specifications, technical specifications and evaluation of contractor offers
Site supervision and specialist construction management with control of technical execution, coordination of installation work and support during commissioning and acceptance
Project coordination and technical customer consulting with participation in client and planning meetings as well as monitoring of costs, deadlines and quality requirements
Further development of innovative HVAC solutions with testing of new materials, products, processes and technical findings from research and development
Qualifications:
Completed training as a building services planner EFZ specialising in heating or ventilation, ideally with knowledge of both HVAC disciplines
Further training as a certified technician HF building services or HVAC engineer FH is an advantage; alternatively willingness for professional development towards project management
Professional experience in planning and realisation of heating and ventilation systems, ideally in demanding Swiss building projects
Sound knowledge of HVAC system technology, especially system conception, dimensioning, energy efficiency and technical execution planning
Knowledge of relevant Swiss SIA standards and energy regulations, especially SIA 382/1 and SIA 384/1 as well as basics of energy-efficient building planning
Good user skills in CAD, Autodesk Revit and Microsoft Office as well as interest in BIM-supported planning processes and willingness for regular site visits
Confident German language skills in spoken and written form for technical documentation, client meetings and interdisciplinary project coordination
