Specialised Nurse in the Operating Theatre (URG, PED, ROBOT)
To complete the team of the Emergency, Paediatric Surgery and Robotics division within the main operating theatre, we are looking for a nurse specialised in the operative field.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research and education.
The main operating theatre is a multidisciplinary technical platform comprising 16 elective operating rooms divided into 4 activity centres designed to accommodate patients requiring scheduled surgery in one of 11 surgical specialties, and 2 operating rooms dedicated to 24/7 emergency care.
Mission
- You assist in advanced interventions within a defined clinical division
- You have the opportunity to develop versatile skills in these specialisations as part of a personalised integration programme
- You implement hygiene and safety measures taking into account the risks inherent to the nature of the interventions and the specificity of the patients, as well as the use of medical devices
- You collaborate in a multidisciplinary team to care for operated patients, ensuring their well-being by providing a quality welcome and support.
Profile
- You hold a nursing diploma with specialisation in the operative field (IDDO/IBODE).
- You hold a HES nursing diploma (or an equivalent qualification as well as recognition from the Red Cross for staff qualified abroad, mandatory)
- You enjoy teamwork
- Proactive by nature, your technical, organisational and interpersonal skills enable you to provide quality care
- You are proficient in French (level C1).
