Overall Project Manager / Client Representation

Do you have experience in managing complex, large construction projects? We offer an exciting and responsible position in the client representation of the Canton of Zurich. With us, you build the future – together with 160 committed colleagues. As the overall project manager in Building Area A of the Building Office, you are responsible for challenging, larger projects of the canton from feasibility study to completed construction, such as the renewal of the Cantonal Laboratory.

Your tasks

With us, you are responsible for leading large project teams consisting of various stakeholders. You manage the planning and construction processes, conduct tenders, are responsible for contract management, and have control over costs, deadlines, as well as risk and project-related quality management (PQM). You regularly report to the project committee, inform the government and cantonal council, and prepare controlling reports for higher authorities.

Your profile

It is important to us that you communicate skilfully and on equal terms with different project participants. You are passionate about realising meaningful projects for the people of the Canton of Zurich. You have a qualification as an architect or engineer (ETH or FH), are innovative, and always in search of the best solution.
