Job Description
Our Patient Administration & Tariffs department makes a significant contribution to a smooth patient process and ensures correct, efficient and timely billing. Together with our medical and administrative teams, it ensures that our patients and partners can always rely on professional and reliable handling. Specialist Outpatient Tariffs 40-100%
Tasks
- You advise service providers, managers and internal specialist departments on outpatient tariffs and correct service recording.
- You contribute to the introduction, implementation and further development of new outpatient tariff structures - especially TARDOC.
- You open, maintain and check tariff and service master data in Nexus and accompany relevant system interfaces.
- You analyse service recording, rejections, error rates and possible revenue losses and derive concrete improvement measures.
- You develop processes, standards, guidelines and quality requirements further and support their uniform implementation at the locations.
- You create and interpret KPIs, statistics and meaningful evaluations as a basis for decisions for management and leadership.
- You work in cross-departmental projects and coordinate topics between patient administration, finance, clinics, practice management, controlling and ICT.
- You introduce new employees to the outpatient tariff structures, create training materials and convey specialist knowledge appropriately for the target audience.
Job Requirements
- A commercial or medical basic training; a higher professional education or further training in healthcare, business administration or as a healthcare clerk is an advantage.
- Experience in outpatient tariff systems, service recording, patient administration, service billing, revenue management or health insurance.
- Good knowledge of the Swiss tariff system and experience with TARDOC.
- In-depth knowledge of the tariff system in ophthalmology and dermatology is desirable.
- Strong analytical skills, affinity for numbers as well as a careful, structured and independent way of working.
- Experience in process or project work and enjoyment in pragmatically implementing improvement potentials.
- Confidence in handling digital tools; knowledge of Nexus, Business Central or comparable ERP and clinical information systems is a plus.
- Very good German skills as well as clear, target group-oriented communication with medical and non-medical professionals.
- Self-responsibility, service orientation, discretion, willingness to change and enjoyment of cross-location collaboration.
