Due to the retirement of our long-standing operations manager, we are looking for a committed and entrepreneurial-minded individual to take over the management of our bodyshop and successfully continue its operation. To ensure thorough training and a smooth handover, the start date is by arrangement, ideally from mid-2027.
Your tasks:
You will assume overall responsibility for our bodyshop and ensure that the operation is managed successfully from a technical, organisational and economic perspective.
Your main duties include:
- Technical and personnel management of the team
- Planning, coordination and monitoring of all repair orders
- Responsibility for the entire order processing, from vehicle acceptance and quotation and calculation preparation through to claims handling and timely invoicing.
- Point of contact in close cooperation with insurance companies, claims experts, garages, leasing companies, suppliers and other business partners.
- Ensuring high-quality, economical and timely execution of all work in compliance with quality, safety and manufacturer specifications.
- Responsibility for the economic management and continuous optimisation of operational processes.
- Confident use of modern calculation, manufacturer and administration programmes.
- Role model within the company and active support of the team when the operational situation requires it.
- Responsibility for infrastructure, machinery, order and building maintenance.
Your profile:
You have a solid education as a certified bodywork mechanic (Carrosseriespengler/in EFZ), ideally complemented by further training as a bodyshop manager, and bring strong leadership qualities alongside your technical skills.
Ideally, you have:
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in a comparable role as well as pronounced commercial knowledge.
- Entrepreneurial thinking and an independent, structured and solution-oriented working style.
- High flexibility and entrepreneurial sense of responsibility.
- Strong social skills, communication strength, organisational talent and assertiveness.
- Very good German language skills; knowledge of French, English or Italian is an advantage.
- Driving licence category B is mandatory; driving licences category C or C1 are desirable.
