The Sorell Hotels are the largest Swiss hotel group in private ownership with 16 individual city and holiday hotels in the 3- and 4-star category in Zurich, Dübendorf, Basel, Winterthur, Bern, Rapperswil, St. Gallen, Schaffhausen, and Bad Ragaz. The completely renovated 3-star superior Sorell Hotel Krone with its 39 rooms and a banquet and seminar room for up to 80 people is located in the old town of Winterthur. The hotel is only a few steps from the main train station. The Wirtshaus zur Krone, the terrace, and the lounge are popular meeting places not only for hotel guests but also for guests from the city.
