About the job
Your new role
The School and Music Department manages the municipal schools as well as the offerings of the music school and day care. It ensures successful collaboration among all parties involved and places the child’s well-being at the centre of attention.
In the Hof-Kreuzbühl school catchment area in the west of the city, around 450 pupils are taught in the two school buildings Hof and Kreuzbühl as well as in seven kindergartens. Due to the change of position of the previous deputy headteacher, we are looking for an experienced and motivated person to act as deputy headteacher.
In your role, you will support the headteacher with a leadership workload totalling approximately 150% in the operational, pedagogical and personnel management of the Hof-Kreuzbühl school unit. Within the school leadership team, you will be primarily responsible for the concerns and people of Kreuzbühl School, take on the management of internal school projects and play a key role in shaping "the school of tomorrow". The workload can be supplemented with teaching lessons if possible.
This position is for you if you
- have completed or are willing to complete headteacher training.
- have a pedagogical understanding of a heterogeneous environment.
- enjoy digital work processes, are strong in organisation and have a structured way of working.
- possess strong communication skills and holistic thinking and acting.
- have an interest in educational policy issues and want to help shape school development.
