Junior Monitoring Engineer (m/f)

Your area of responsibility

• As a Junior Monitoring Engineer, you are part of the Automation & Monitoring team and support the design, setup and operation of monitoring solutions for our customers
• You work with modern monitoring and observability platforms (e.g. PRTG, Elastic, Graylog) and help to reliably monitor infrastructures and services
• You create and maintain sensors, dashboards, alerts and reports and ensure that our customers keep an overview of their IT
• In smaller tasks you work independently, in larger projects hand in hand with experienced colleagues
• You support the automation of recurring monitoring tasks (e.g. via PowerShell and Python)
• You are the contact person for customers and take on more responsibility in their projects as your experience grows
• Participation in the further development of solutions & services for ITRIS One
• The customer and their added value are your top priority in your work

Your profile

• You have vocational training in the field of computer science or have an equivalent education or further training
• You already have initial experience in one of the following areas: client/server, virtualisation, monitoring, log analysis, backup and storage solutions, Microsoft Azure, IT process automation
• You are a service-oriented team player and enjoy dealing with customers
• You are interested in training and further education and motivated to familiarise yourself with new areas
• The "view beyond the horizon" inspires you
• German and English spoken and written are no problem
• You are well organised and can carry out projects independently
• You have a category B driving licence and are flexible for our locations in the German-speaking part of Switzerland
