Main tasks
- Assessment of cyber security for all FINMA supervised entities both in the licensing process and in ongoing supervision activities using various supervisory instruments
- Taking over the technical leadership for cyber security during on-site inspections at supervised institutions
- Technical leadership in conducting cyber exercises at supervised entities
- Technical responsibility and monitoring of reported cyber attacks and assessment of the measures initiated
- Evaluation of supervisory and internal audit reports regarding cyber risk management
- Active participation in shaping national and international regulation in the area of cyber risks
Profile
- Completed technical and/or business education (university, university of applied sciences) as well as specialised further training and certifications (such as CISSP, CISM, CISA)
- Solid practical experience in dealing with IT and cyber risks, ideally in the financial, consulting or audit environment (e.g. as auditor, security manager, SOC manager)
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as commercial acumen
- Interest in very varied and challenging activities with a lot of personal responsibility
- Strong communication skills as a convincing interlocutor in dialogue with supervised entities or other stakeholders, even in controversial discussions
- Very good German and French skills (C2), English skills are an advantage
