Volunteer Drivers
{ Le for Meal Service
For many years, volunteers have been delivering meals to elderly people in Arlesheim. We deliver meals from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) between 9 and 11 am directly to customers' homes.
We are currently looking for additional volunteer meal drivers to complement our existing team. You enjoy interacting with elderly people and like to take time for a chat: You deliver meals using your own car. You have time for regular assignments and commit to them reliably. You decide the personal regularity yourself. Half-year assignments are also quite possible. We compensate you and our liability insurance covers emergencies.
Helping out is a gain for everyone: You facilitate social contacts. People with age-related limitations can live independently at home for longer. The volunteer helpers can exchange experiences and meet new people. Once a year, the helper team is invited to a fine dinner at Obesunne. Fuel costs are reimbursed.
