A passion for the security of electricity supply

In this exciting leadership role, you make an important contribution to ensuring that Swissgrid employees and those of contracted companies work safely and without health risks. Your tasks include:

• Leading and developing our team of specialists in the Health & Safety field
• Ensuring a comprehensive approach in the specialised area with the main objective of continuing to promote safe work at Swissgrid and on our very high voltage network construction sites
• Continuously developing the Health & Safety area to advance the safety culture at Swissgrid and in contracted companies
• Developing safety standards, methods, and tools to ensure continuous improvement
• Performing specific safety-related functions within the Swiss and European context, maintaining a network with stakeholders, partners, and authorities inside and outside the sector, and representing Swissgrid's interests

How to make a difference

You are an inclusive and empathetic person with significant experience in managing multi-site teams. You stand out through your integrity, results orientation, and communication skills with a strong practical mindset. Additionally, you bring the following:

• Safety specialist/engineer or comparable training in a European environment
• Extensive leadership experience and experience in managing and developing the Health & Safety area
• Confidence in dealing with management, internal and external partners, as well as contracted companies
• Affinity with the complex environment of critical infrastructure in Switzerland
• Very good knowledge of German and French; English or Italian is an advantage
