We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual as Head of Parts Service at the Porsche Centre Basel. You will take on a central role, bearing overall responsibility for our parts warehouse, leading your team with commitment and foresight, and ensuring that the right parts are in the right place at the right time.
With your expertise, organisational talent, and entrepreneurial mindset, you will ensure smooth operations in the parts service, making a significant contribution to a first-class aftersales experience. At the same time, you will have the freedom to actively develop processes and sustainably advance your area.
Head of Parts
Your scope of responsibility – here you take charge
- Overall responsibility for the entire parts warehouse
- Professional and personnel management of the parts service team with 2–3 employees including one apprentice
- Planning and ensuring optimal parts availability as well as supporting the aftersales process according to Porsche standards
- Ensuring high-quality and excellent delivery to our Porsche customers
- Developing target proposals for sales, revenue, and profit
- Reporting and analysing relevant warehouse key figures and deriving and implementing appropriate measures
- Responsibility for achieving quantitative and qualitative goals
- Monitoring and compliance with safety regulations and environmental protection requirements in the parts and accessories area
- Ensuring order and cleanliness in the parts warehouse
- Participation in planning and implementing marketing measures in the parts and Tequipment area, especially Porsche Classic and Porsche Motorsport
- Responsibility for the Porsche Lifestyle Shop in the showroom
What you bring
- Successfully completed vocational training as a retail specialist in car parts & logistics
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in car parts logistics and proven leadership skills
- Goal-oriented, reliable, and independent personality with high initiative
- Ability to maintain an overview and set the right priorities even in hectic situations
- Team player with a structured and precise working style
- Strong customer orientation and enjoyment in dealing with people
- Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- Confident use of MS Office and dealer management systems
