Your area of responsibility
In this responsible leadership role, you will manage the Rental Properties Section with five employees. The section is responsible for the management of the rented properties of the City of Aarau, the residents' and local citizens' community. You ensure professional, economical and legally compliant management and operate within a political environment. Your work requires an in-depth understanding of tenancy law as well as sound knowledge of property accounting. You prepare reports, proposals and decision-making bases for the City Council and represent your dossiers competently and convincingly to internal and external stakeholders. Furthermore, you bear the professional, financial and personnel responsibility in your area of responsibility.
Your profile
For this position, you bring several years of professional experience in property management and ideally have relevant further training, such as the Swiss Federal Certificate in Property Management or a diploma as a Swiss federally certified real estate trustee. You work in a structured and independent manner, maintain an overview even in demanding situations and set priorities confidently. Your leadership skills, communication strength and confident appearance in the political environment distinguish you, as do your reliability and sense of responsibility.
