About the job

Your Challenge

• Operational procurement of merchandise, production-related materials as well as components and services – with a focus on glass and solar technology
• Hub function between PPS, Quality, Product Management, Sales, After Sales and Logistics
• Ensuring optimal inventory management
• Creating framework agreements
• Creating subcontracting orders and purchase orders
• Process optimization and process definition in the area of disposition and logistics according to LEAN principles
• Checking and accounting of supplier invoices
• Maintaining international supplier relationships, especially in Europe and Asia, in close cooperation with strategic purchasing
• Assisting in the organization and handling of export shipping of our solar systems
• Supporting the further development of our purchasing strategy

Your Profile

• Completed technical or commercial basic training, preferably with further training as a technical buyer, certified purchasing specialist or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in operational purchasing and disposition, ideally in the glass industry or solar sector
• Confident German and very good English skills
• Proficient in handling ERP systems and MS Office
• Communicative, solution-oriented and resilient personality with entrepreneurial thinking
